Advocacy 101 Workshop April 4th, Baton Rouge

In these turbulent political times, more artists and arts organizations are looking to engage their elected leaders to ensure their priorities are being addressed. But where to begin? Join Louisiana Citizens for Culture and Preserve Louisiana for an Advocacy 101 Panel on Tuesday, April 4th 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Old Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge.

Topics to be covered include: Messaging for your cause, Scheduling meeting with your representatives, How to Maximize your visit, Following Up with your Message, and  How to be a constant advocate. Plus your questions!

Joining us on this panel will be Mackenzie Ledet with Stonehenge Capital, Carling Dinkler with Enhanced Capital, and Michael Bracy with Bracy, Tucker, Brown, & Valanzano of Washington, D.C.
